POISON your PEACE
Let's be honest—there is no shortage of negativity these days.
Turn on the news and you'll hear fear. Scroll social media and you'll find division. Listen to some conversations and you'll walk away feeling drained. It seems like everywhere we turn, someone is predicting disaster, spreading outrage, or feeding anxiety.
But child of God, your mind does not have to become a storage unit for the world's chaos.
The enemy would love for you to spend your days worried about things you cannot control. God, however, calls us to focus on what is true, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise.
Philippians 4:8 (NIV) says:
"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
Notice that Paul didn't say ignore reality. He said choose your focus.
You can acknowledge what's happening in the world without allowing it to live rent-free in your spirit.
Today, protect your peace. Feed your faith more than your fears. Pray more than you panic. Worship more than you worry.
And remember: God is still on the throne, His promises still stand, and your future is still in His hands.
No matter what headlines scream, God's voice speaks louder.
